Architect and design researcher, from 1962 he spent two years in museums all over the world, houses and warehouses, up to Latvia, with his friend François Burkhardt, former director of the Beaubourg in Paris, sniffing, viewing and cataloguing «masterful» objects abandoned to neglect, lost to collective memory, which were recovered, studied and finally proposed to the public and to modern use.

From 1971 holder of the chair of furniture and Interior Architecture, University of Naples. From 1973 was curator of the re-editions “I Maestri”.  From 1998 he directed the School of Specialization in furnishing and product design at University of Naples.
